We will be holding a web conference with Greek economist Yanis Varoufakis tomorrow, 1 May, at 5pm GMT.

To join: 

  • Visit the USi home page at usilive.org
  • Look for the BigBlueButton login under the video on the right sidebar
  • Choose the chat room Austerity in Greece
  • Enter your name
  • Password: 123 (if you are already logged into the USi site, you won’t need to enter a password)
  • Wait to be redirected to the web conferencing server
  • Click “allow” so that the server can access your microphone and sound settings

Yanis will be talking about austerity in Greece, the continuing Eurozone crisis, the situation in Cyprus, and control of the press and media freedom in Greece.
