Pay dispute with government is resolved

GMB flagGMB members in the NHS in England have voted by 81% to accept a new NHS Pay offer.

GMB national officer Rehana Azam said:  “GMB members in England have voted by four to one to accept the new offer secured after a week of talks. This means the pay dispute in England is resolved.

“Strike action on 29th January was called off to allow members to consider the new offer. This was after 22,000 GMB members were forced to resort to strike action in the NHS across England & Northern Ireland on 13th October and 24th November to secure this new offer. The new offer does not apply to Northern Ireland where the dispute continues.”

Members of RCM and SoR have already accepted the offer.
