    CNM/CUT Brazilian Metalworkers Endorse USi

USi is delighted to announce the endorsement of the world famous CNM/CUT Brazilian Metalworkers and we look forward to developing our work to build trade union solidarity.

    Endorsement Letter CNM/CUT

The CNM / CUT believe that an exchange between the unions, nationally and internationally, is now a prerequisite for the development of a good union work. Therefore, the initiative to found an organization that encourages international solidarity will meet our expectations and the attitude that the CNM / CUT maintain on their international representation boards.

One of the major difficulties for that exchange and global campaigns to consolidate is the diversity of languages. Worldwide this feature is very expensive and can cripple essential connections to trade union action. So, we are very pleased to know that Portuguese is one of the languages prioritized by USI.

We endorse the USI as a forum for the exchange of ideas and communication, we commit to participate with our experiences and strategies, and encourage the participation of our affiliated unions. We agree that such participation is done through written articles, podcasts, video conferencing and social media.

Certainly this initiative will put us closer and enable us to understand in depth what our fellow workers face in their realities.

    Sincerely,

    Paulo Cayres     Presidente
