The Prime Minister has been barred from the King’s Arms in Salford ahead of next week’s Conservative Party conference in Manchester.

A spokesperson for the pub, which is owned by singer Paul Heaton, told UnionNews: “Cameron is barred for two reasons. First, the punters don’t like him and, second, we don’t want the sort of shenanigans he got up to with his mates in the Bullingdon Club.”

All trade union members visiting the pub over the weekend will be charged “Happy Hour” prices with the production of their union membership card.
