unions together organises hustings

Labour Party logoThe four candidates for leadership of the Labour Party are this morning taking part in a hustings organised by Unions Together.

The organisation, which represents the 14 unions affiliated to the party, is inviting questions to Andy Turnham, Yvette Cooper, Jeremy Corbyn and Liz Kendall via Twitter @unionstogether.

The hustings starts at 11am and can be followed here: unions together.org.uk/hustings

So far Jeremy Corbyn is the only leader to be officially endorsed by unions. He has the backing of ASLEF, BFAWU, FBU and RMT.

USi understands candidates will appear at hustings organised by UNISON and Unite in the coming weeks.
